Urban Forager started out with its founder, Lou Corteen, a former research biologist, collecting unwanted backyard produce and using it as a base for delectable preserves. With her biology background kicking, she was also developing, alongside a professor of food science, a shelf stable version of her own vegetable stock, which became a customer fave. Meat stock concentrates followed as did a custom-made kitchen with room to grow.
Made with free-range organic chicken, and 99% Aussie ingredients, Urban Forager’s chicken stock is the real deal. It has a no nasties ingredient list and walloping 41 serves per pack and is gluten, dairy, sugar, preservative and palm oil free.
