Wholesome Gives
Through Wholesome, we are wholly committed to providing our members the lowest prices on the best and most sustainable products so that they can live their healthiest lives, conscientiously. But we also recognise that not everybody can afford a membership to begin with and some can’t even afford a meal or roof over their head. Through our Gives program, for every new member, we commit to donating one free membership to an Australian in need and we donate the equivalent of five nutritious meals through OzHarvest to the most vulnerable Australians. Through the donation of memberships, monetary and in-kind donations, we commit to donating the equivalent of at least 2% of membership revenue annually.

Free Memberships
We are committed to providing free memberships to low-income individuals or families. In addition, seniors, individuals with disabilities, those with occupations who are vital to everyday Australians such as firefighters, students, nurses and teachers qualify. We also believe students, typically on no or limited income, should have access to healthy, sustainable products and are eligible to receive a free membership.

Sustainability
Planet Friendly
Our aim is to put the well-being of our planet at the core of what we do. We closely monitor our carbon emissions and strive to reduce our footprint as much as possible. The emissions that we cannot eliminate, we offset through Greenfleet to support reforestation projects here in Australia. Our journey is towards carbon-positivity and every day we commit to be better and do more on this journey.
Operationally, we have implemented sustainable practices in our office and warehouse including renewable energy, recycling and waste management, remote working arrangements and sustainable transportation, among others.
For order fulfilment, we prioritise ground delivery to minimise carbon emissions and our own packaging is 100% post-consumer recyclable or reusable – from the box to the void fill to the tape that holds it together.

Introducing
Alene & Jerry
In 2020 we set out to flip the lid on the traditional retail model through Wholesome, an online membership that provides access to the best prices on an incredible range of people and planet-friendly products, all under one virtual roof. To-date, we’ve saved our members over $1m on eco-health products!
Australian, family-run, female-founded, community involvement, organic, regenerative, and carbon-neutral are just some of the values that we look for when we select our brand partners. We are incredibly passionate about finding unique brands that are innovating in their category while also doing a whole lot of good in the world and for the planet.
When not scouring the continent for the best, most innovative products to bring to Wholesome members, you can usually find Jerry on a hike, enjoying a cocktail at a rooftop bar or thinking of the next big consumer brand. Alene, on the other hand, can usually be found cooking up a storm or on her yoga mat (when not chasing her two young children of course!).
