Coconut sugar is a healthy, natural sugar substitute with a low Glycemic index (GI) of 35. Coconut sugar is also great tasting, nutrient rich and minimally processed and preservative free. It can be used in a 1:1 ratio as a replacement for brown sugar in any recipe, and it is suitable for baking or as a healthy alternative to cane sugar in tea or coffee.
