We believe that how a product is sourced, produced and distributed and the way in which our brand partners conduct their business is equally as important as the product’s ingredients. So important that we’ve defined our own criteria with which we evaluate each and every product we carry to ensure it complies. We define the brands and products that meet our criteria as eco-health products. These products are not only good for us to consume or use on our bodies or in our homes, but equally good for the planet and good for the community.

Eco-health products are:

  1. Good for you | Ingredient Integrity We taste every product and only carry products that taste great. We value simplicity of ingredients and highlight products with readable ingredients, that are nutritious, natural, organic or equivalent and contain only the good stuff. No nasties here! The products on Wholesome have all been assessed by a nutritionist or naturopath.
  2. Good for the planet | Sustainability practices and principles: We favour brand partners focused on minimising their carbon footprint. Whether through formalised certifications or commitment to recyclable packaging, our brands are resolved to touch the earth as lightly as possible. We favour companies that employ regenerative farming practices and we do not tolerate animal testing. Rest assured our products are cruelty free.
  3. Good for the community | Supporting social good: Brands on Wholesome are conscious brands. They are dedicated to positive change and support key social causes. They have responsible sourcing and ethical supply chain practices. They are committed to supporting inclusion and diversity. We favour Australian companies to support our local economy and reap the sustainable benefits of locally produced products and sourced ingredients. We believe that following the same value system in our own operations that we require of our brand partners is fundamental and as a company, we abide by and uphold these very same values and principles.
