Jose Gourmet was founded in 2008 by two friends, Adriano Ribeiro, a pilot, and Luís Mendonça, a university design professor to sell quality and inspired conservas. Jose Gourmet sources high-quality seafood, sustainably, from the coasts of Portugal and Spain. Manufactured by traditional methods in one of the oldest canning factories in Portugal, Jose Gourmet is committed to principles of fair trade, often paying higher prices in advance, and never negotiating for better pricing.
